Hey !

I'm proud to say that I'm on the boat with the awesome Davy Wagnarok :icondavywagnarok: , working on his great and powerful project called "N3on City Rumble" : a "beat 'em up" card game that simulates 5-on-5 tag team combat between mutant martial artists. What a program my friends !

If you would like to learn more about N30N City RUMBLE, take a moment to view the Kickstarter page (still a work in progress--the prices and funding goal are being adjusted as you read this!): www.kickstarter.com/projects/d…  <<Be sure to click the "Remind Me" tab to stay in the loop! If you have any questions, feel free to contact the creator at DavyWagnarok@gmail.com

I know I already commented on Facebook about this piece, but I wanna officially give my take on it here at dA!

First, lets talk about epic, cos this is EPIC.

It's got that badass super hero poster vibe--the character with his/her back to you standing like a G. The lighting is top heavy, with the artist putting the focus on the character's face. And yet, for a profile poster, there's a whole lot of detail to behold.

Check out that background. It's got the quintessential neon grid, made famous by the movie, Tron (but don't quote me on that!). It's got that steam you see in any 80s crime noir movie based out of Chicago or the Big Apple. Then we have the city itself, which has this cool, almost retro flat vibe to it. I can't express this any better: Wilde Rudy has discovered a side of the city that was unknown to me. In all honesty, I think he's nailed the aesthetic of N30N City RUMBLE. But not just that, he's brought in a whole new flavor all his own.

The neon border is a nice touch which also helps to set the game in terms of branding, as every Item card is encased in such a border. Great find on the font too.

There's just no way someone can look at this and think, "man, the 80s sucked." F that. When I look at this ridiculously cool picture, it makes me wish I could live in the 80s as a 30 year-old!

That is all.
